A broad range of geomatic capabilities are brought together for Earth and planetary science studies in the Geosciences and Engineering Division (GED) at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI). These geomatics capabilities broadly include: News UpdateMarius Necsoiu, and D.M. Hooper recently co-authored the chapter, “Use of Emerging InSAR and LiDAR Remote Sensing Technologies to Anticipate and Monitor Critical Natural Hazards,” of the book Building Safer Communities. Risk Governance, Spatial Planning and Responses to Natural Hazards. Vol. 58, NATO Science for Peace and Security, Series - E: Human and Societal Dynamics. The book was edited by Urbano Fra Paleo.
