To address the challenges of aerospace applications, SwRI staff develop techniques to characterize material properties of advanced composites.

The growing space and planetary sciences program in the Geosciences and Engineering Division of Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) offers expertise in the following areas:

National Environmental Policy Act

SwRI also has more than 20 years of experience with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements, and offers complete support to organizations with environmental impact assessment responsibilities under NEPA. Multidisciplinary teams within the Geosciences and Engineering Division are formed to prepare or evaluate environmental assessments and environmental impact statements.
