DAAAC Consortia Currently Being Re-evaluated

Based on client feedback, SwRI is working on new DAAAC proposals. These proposals will have targeted scope of work to address the interests of specific groups of companies. We will be contacting you periodically to gather relevant information for the new proposals. These proposals will be prepared and sent out when each one is ready. Thank you for your continuing interest in the DAAAC program.

DAAAC CONSORTIUM CANCELLED

This letter is to inform you that the proposed Diesel Aftertreatment Accelerated Aging Cycle (DAAAC) Consortium has been cancelled. It is with sincerest regret that we bring you this news. As a result, the kick-off meeting scheduled for June 13, 2008 will not be held. We are notifying you in advance to provide you sufficient time to cancel your travel plans and arrangements. The primary reasons for this decision are:

  1. Despite significant interest from more than 20 companies, SwRI does not anticipate receiving sufficient contracts by the kick-off date to proceed in a meaningful fashion.

  2. The scope of the proposed work was unable to meet the specific, yet widely varied needs of the interested companies.

Despite the reluctant decision not proceed with the DAAAC Consortium, SwRI remains committed to working with those companies that have specific objectives in the area of accelerated aging procedures for diesel aftertreatment systems. We are prepared to discuss potential single-client and multi-client projects on a case-by-case basis. If you have an interest in exploring these options, please let us know.
